Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions are between you and TEJAC Holding AS, a company registered in Norway (“we”, “us” or “SyllabusSlayer”). SyllabusSlayer is an online study assistant for university students that turns syllabus PDFs and URLs into structured study plans, lectures, flashcards, podcast episodes and tutor chat.

2. Acceptance

By signing up, logging in, uploading content, generating content or otherwise using SyllabusSlayer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and have the authority to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please make sure the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

4. What we provide

SyllabusSlayer generates study materials based on the syllabus, textbook and other information you supply. Output is generated by artificial intelligence. While we aim for high quality, we cannot guarantee that every generated lecture, answer, plan or podcast is complete, error-free or suitable for your specific course or exam. Always verify important facts against your official course materials.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • using SyllabusSlayer for any unlawful purpose;
  • uploading or generating content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property;
  • attempting to interfere with the security, availability or performance of the service;
  • spamming, fraud, scraping, reverse engineering or circumventing usage limits;
  • using AI features to create illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, malware-related or sexually explicit content;
  • jailbreaking, prompt-injection or otherwise trying to make the AI produce harmful outputs.

You are responsible for the prompts, syllabus files, URLs and other inputs you provide, and for how you use the generated outputs. You must have the right to upload any third-party content (for example a syllabus PDF or textbook excerpt).

6. Content moderation and takedown

We reserve the right to review, refuse, restrict, modify or remove content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or repeatedly infringe intellectual property. If you believe material on SyllabusSlayer infringes your rights, contact us at Hello@syllabusslayer.com with details of the work and the alleged infringement.

7. Intellectual property

SyllabusSlayer and all underlying software, designs, branding, documentation and generated system code remain the property of TEJAC Holding AS or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal study purposes in accordance with your selected plan.

You retain ownership of the original syllabus files, textbook excerpts, notes and other inputs you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and use them solely to provide the service to you (for example, to generate lectures, podcasts and study plans).

8. Subscriptions, payments and credits

Some features require a paid subscription or the purchase of video/podcast generation credits. Prices and billing periods are shown on the Billing page.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Please review Paddle’s terms before completing a purchase.

Credits are non-refundable except where required by our Refund Policy or applicable law. If a generation fails due to a technical error on our side, the credit may be refunded to your account.

9. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page or through Paddle’s customer portal. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules.

10. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (such as lost profits, data or goodwill), except where liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, fraud, death or personal injury).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TEJAC Holding AS and its directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country require otherwise.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control.
